The New USA?

Two days ago in a town meeting President Obama said that AARP wouldn’t be endorsing the plan if it was bad for seniors. However, once AARP members became angry, AARP began denying any such endorsement.
So what gives with that?
And now American Citizen’s are being asked to report each other?

What country did I wake up in this morning? Is this still the United States of America, where freedom rings? Is this still a country where you can speak/write what ever is on your mind?

What possible legitimate reason could the White House have for asking you to report your friends or contacts who might have a “fishy” opinion? What exactly does “fishy” mean in this case? What will they do with this information? Do they plan on acting on these reports?

Seriously people, you had better wake up and pay attention or someone could be knocking at your door to ask you about an email you forwarded from your inbox.

What is next with these people?
Are we still in the USA? It don't look familiar to me..

Today’s Rasmussen Presidential Tracking survey will have hit the poll-obsessed Obama White House like a bullet train at full speed. For the first time, Barack Obama’s approval rating has fallen below 50 per cent among likely voters. 51 per cent of Americans now disapprove of the president, with 38 per cent strongly disapproving. The poll also reveals that 53 per cent oppose the president’s hugely controversial congressional health care reform package.

The Incident that saved America from a Teddy Kennedy Presidency occurred forty years ago today. As true American heroes Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were streaking their way to the Moon on Apollo 11; the Hero of Chappaquiddick earned his (yellow) stripes by allowing the drowning of Mary Jo Kopechne.

No autopsy was performed on Ms. Kopechne's body; however there was some evidence discovered by the funeral director and presented by the District Attorney that Mary Jo suffocated in an air pocket. If confirmed this should have make Senator Kennedy's behavior that night rise to the crime of manslaughter -- but this was Massachusetts. Judge Bernard Brominski ruled against exhumation and autopsy on December 10th, 1969.

The Left's Hero gave multiple accounts of the events of that night. Thus leading one to believe that his nickname has been misspelled all these years since.

Shouldn't it read: ‘The Lyin' of the Senate'?

And what of the dead woman? a 28-year-old named Mary Jo Kopechne drowned in his automobile. While the fat cowardly drunken bastard ran away.

Tell that to Mary Jo Kopechne's family, who have suffered over the years while this career politician lived high on the hog in Washington.

I'm sure that Ted Kennedy's MSM obituaries will feature Chappaquiddick just like Nixon's highlighted Watergate....I don't think so. They will praise the Fat Bastard like he was the best thing that ever happened since Irish Scotch whiskey .
I wonder if the lying drunk Kennedy of the senate was aware of what day this anniversary was. I doubt it. he couldn't swim out of his Scotch bottle long enough to care. Of all the Kennedy's, they missed the biggest target of all of them, what the hell? And then, when he hadn't done quite enough damage in all kinds of lives, he drove his real wife to being a drunk.

My Tribute To Michael Jackson

Now we have seen the inevitable death of a unique, eccentric, tormented, bigger than life entertainer who has lived with notoriety and in a glass fishbowl since he was 5 years old. Now that we see the demise of an Ass-Hole who fondled little children. Now that this druggie has bit the dust and will bother little boys no longer. Now that the masked one, the gloved one is with his maker. It's time to call it and say it as it is.
I can't believe the way you morons are canonizing this specimen. I mean... this is a guy who grabbed his d*ck in front of millions all over the world for years, dangled a baby over a balcony, showed up court late and wearing pajamas (try that one and see what happens to you), and quite probably was a child molester. I'm sorry but a grown man sleeping in bed with children who are not his own is the very definition of sick molestation; if not physical then definitely psychological.

Take off your rose colored glasses people. He was only a man, and a poor excuse for one at that.

Today in this country our BRAVE Men and Women who are putting their lives in danger every day are hardly even noticed, while the risk there own lives so the we can sleep safely in our beds at night. and when they are, half of this country couldn't care less about hem or their families. These are the people that should be given a tribute to by millions of Americans, not a lousy Petifile! And how about the doctors, teachers, firemen, policemen, pastors, social workers and nurses will die will nary a mention. And yet this foolish entertainer is being propped up like a saint. It's a very sad commentary when a little jerk sits in his kingdom and has his servants give him daily injections of Demerol and we are expected to go to caiifornia and pay tribute to this piece of crap...

Palin can't win unless she starts to stop the drama and get serious.

Sarah Palin learned a lot of things in her time as John McCain's running mate -- about the savagery of the media; about the duplicity of politicos; about her own gifts as a politician. But she did not learn the most important lesson of 2008: no drama. The passing months show how right Barack Obama's critics, starting with Hillary Clinton, were about his inexperience. But his supreme overconfidence prevents the caution humility would suggest. I hope she's out there hiring some good advisers right now, if she plans a future in the White House. She's got good bones, but there is a lot of work to do and a lot of polishing up to do.
Like it or not, we all have to take criticism at some time or another and this seems to be good constructive criticism for her. I am not talking about the mean-spirited lefties who love to hate Palin like they did Pres. Bush. She is young and has time to grow. I hope they haven't already ruined her. All that said, we need a winner in 2012 for this country to survive.

If the media wasn't so busy wringing its hands over the death of Michael Jackson they would have been in the front lines on Palin's withdrawal. I hope she will step up to the plate and bring some dignity to all of this, but as long as the media refuses to see outside of the Beltway, at least once in a while, they'll do everything they can to bring her down.
